Role Overview
We are looking for a confident and execution-focused Business Development Associate who will lead school partnerships across Hyderabad.
This is a field-intensive role involving institutional outreach, in-person meetings with school leadership, onboarding new partner schools, and driving defined acquisition targets. You will work closely with the Founder to execute growth strategy during a high-expansion phase.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with EdTech exposure who understands institutional sales cycles and relationship-driven growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach private, CBSE, ICSE, State Board, and International schools across Hyderabad
Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with school management and HR teams
Present the Urban Teacher platform and explain its recruitment solutions
Onboard schools onto the platform and document hiring requirements
Coordinate internally to ensure recruitment needs are fulfilled
Maintain structured partnership pipeline tracking and weekly reporting
Work toward defined onboarding and revenue targets during the contract period
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in Business Development or Institutional Sales
Minimum 1 year of experience in the EdTech sector
Strong communication skills in Telugu, Hindi, and English
Comfortable with regular field visits across Hyderabad
Strong follow-up, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Target-driven and execution-focused mindset
Existing relationships within the Hyderabad school ecosystem will be an advantage.
