JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support Upwork bidding, lead generation, LinkedIn outreach, and business development activities. The ideal candidate should have good communication and research skills, a sales mindset, and a strong willingness to learn client acquisition and outbound outreach.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Search and identify relevant projects and business opportunities on Upwork.

• Understand and analyze client requirements and job postings.

• Identify suitable projects and opportunities for the company.

• Prepare and submit customized proposals and bids with guidance.

• Write personalized cover letters based on client requirements.

• Research clients and their businesses before submitting proposals.

• Monitor Upwork regularly for new and relevant opportunities.

• Maintain records of submitted bids, proposals, responses, and opportunities.

• Follow up with potential clients and interested prospects.

• Use LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify potential clients and decision-makers. • Research companies, prospects, industries, and business opportunities.

• Generate, qualify, and maintain a database of potential leads.

• Conduct outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, and other relevant platforms.

• Create personalized outreach messages and follow-up communications.

• Track leads, outreach activities, responses, and follow-ups.

• Support client acquisition, lead generation, and overall business development activities.

• Learn and work with different sales, outreach, and lead generation tools and techniques.
