Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive with 1–3 years of experience in the staffing or recruitment industry to drive new client acquisition and generate business opportunities.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, building relationships with HR leaders and hiring managers, and converting opportunities into staffing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and generate new business opportunities in the staffing and recruitment market.
Prospect potential clients through LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
Build a strong pipeline of companies requiring IT and Non-IT hiring support.
Client Acquisition
Pitch staffing and recruitment solutions to HR managers, talent acquisition heads, and business leaders.
Schedule and conduct introductory meetings, discovery calls, and presentations.
Convert leads into long-term recruitment partnerships.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and decision makers.
Understand client hiring needs and align them with Scouterly’s recruitment services.
Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and clients.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and revenue targets.
Identify opportunities for long-term staffing contracts and recruitment mandates.
Negotiate commercials and close deals.
Market Research
Monitor industry hiring trends and identify companies with active hiring requirements.
Maintain a database of prospective clients and hiring companies.
Required Skills
1–3 years of business development experience in the staffing/recruitment industry
Strong lead generation and client acquisition skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience in B2B sales and relationship management
Ability to perform cold calling and outbound prospecting
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and email outreach
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a staffing agency or recruitment consultancy
Strong network with HR professionals or hiring managers
Understanding of IT and Non-IT hiring requirements
