A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving a company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and increasing revenue.
Identify potential customers through market research
Generate leads via calls, emails, site visits, networking
Maintain and update CRM database
Qualify prospects based on company criteria
Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
Coordinate meetings, presentations, and site visits
Ensure high customer satisfaction
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations
Negotiate pricing and contract terms
Close deals and convert leads into customer
Analyze market trends and competitor activity
Identify new markets, segments, or product opportunities
Provide feedback to management on pricing and demand
Work with technical/engineering team for product specifications
Coordinate with operations for order execution
Follow up on delivery timelines and after-sales service
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports
Track pipeline, conversions, and revenue forecasts
Maintain proper documentation of contracts and agreements
