Business Development Executive – Vendor Partnerships (Paw-Wow)

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive (Vendor Partnerships) at Paw-Wow, you will play a crucial role in expanding and managing our vendor ecosystem. You will identify, on-board, and nurture relationships with pet care service providers, ensuring high-quality experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Identification & On-boarding
• Identify and reach out to potential pet service providers (groomers, trainers, vets, walkers, boarding/ day care centers, pet spas, etc.) in the city.
• Explain Paw-Wow’s value proposition and on-board vendors onto the platform.
• Ensure vendors complete all on-boarding formalities including KYC, pricing, service listings, and profile setup.
2. Partnerships & Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with vendors to ensure loyalty and retention.
• Act as the single point of contact between Paw-Wow and vendors for operational or business-related queries.
3. Quality & Performance Monitoring
• Monitor vendor performance metrics (response time, quality of service, ratings).
• Collect feedback from vendors and pet parents to improve overall platform experience.
• Work with internal teams (tech, marketing, operations) to resolve vendor issues quickly.
4. Reporting & Insights
• Maintain vendor databases, lead pipelines,
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve vendor engagement and revenue.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Presentable , smart , Good English speaking and Marathi speaking
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
Passionate about pets or experience in the pet care industry is a strong plus•.
• Comfortable with field visits and vendor interactions.
• Preferably from Thane having two wheeler.
• 1–2 years of experience in Business Development / Partnerships / Vendor Management, preferably in start-ups, marketplaces, or service aggregators (e.g., Zomato, UrbanClap, Pet-focused start-ups, etc.). ALSO FRESHERS CAN APPLY
