Role Overview:

The Business Research Intern will support the Strategy & Investment Advisory teams with primary and secondary research to identify market opportunities, assess industries, evaluate competition, and assist in preparing pitch decks and reports. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, market intelligence, and business strategy within a dynamic advisory setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct secondary research on industries, companies, startups, regulatory frameworks, and macroeconomic trends.

• Prepare company profiles, industry outlooks, and benchmarking reports.

• Analyze financial statements, transaction multiples, and funding rounds.

• Assist in creating client presentations, investment teasers, pitch decks, and info memos.

• Track M&A deals, PE/VC investments, IPO trends, and startup ecosystem insights.

• Collaborate with the Business Development and Virtual CFO teams for data insights and content support.

• Maintain and update internal databases and research repositories.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools

• Basic understanding of financial concepts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Valuation)

• Interest in finance, consulting, and the startup ecosystem

Eligibility:

• Undergraduate (final year) student in Commerce, Management, Finance, or Economics

• MBA candidates preferred

• Available for a minimum 6months internship duration
