Job Description
An Agency Development Manager (ADM) fosters and expands an organization's network of partner agencies to drive business growth, typically within the insurance or sales industry. They build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, provide strategic guidance and support, and help them achieve their business objectives. ADMs also work with internal teams to develop and execute strategies for engaging and developing these partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with partner agencies, acting as a primary point of contact and understanding their needs.
Business Development:
Identifying growth opportunities within partner agencies and developing strategies to maximize their potential, including supporting them in generating new business.
Training and Enablement:
Assessing the skills and knowledge of partner agencies and providing training and development opportunities to enhance their performance.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborating with partners to create joint business plans, set targets, and track progress towards achieving those targets.
Performance Management:
Monitoring agency performance, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
