Role Description
The Admissions Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The counsellor will
guide prospective students through the admissions process, assist with enrolment, provide
information on available courses and programs, and maintain effective communication with
students to address their queries. Daily tasks include counselling students, managing
admissions documentation, coordinating with academic departments, and contributing to
sales efforts by promoting courses and services to prospective learners. The counsellor will
also build strong relationships with students through excellent customer service and
communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Student Counselling: Interact with prospective students to understand their academic
background, career goals, and recommend suitable courses.
• Lead Management: Handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to enquiries, and
maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates.
• Admission Conversion: Effectively present course benefits, address concerns, and convert
enquiries into successful admissions.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with students and
parents to ensure a positive counselling experience.
• Negotiation & Closing: Use effective convincing and negotiation techniques to support
students in making informed enrolment decisions.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status in
the system.
• Target Achievement: Consistently work towards achieving monthly admission targets and
contribute to overall team goals.
