We are looking for a motivated and student-focused IT Course Counsellor who can guide students in selecting the right IT courses based on their background, interests, and career goals. The role involves counselling, lead conversion, and maintaining strong student relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Counsel students and parents on IT courses (Web Development, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Software Testing, etc.)
• Understand student requirements and recommend suitable career paths
• Handle walk-in enquiries, calls, and online leads
• Explain course details, duration, fees, and career outcomes clearly
• Conduct follow-ups to convert enquiries into admissions
• Maintain student data, enquiry records, and reports
• Coordinate with trainers and academic teams
• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events
Required Skills & Competencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong counselling and convincing abilities
• Basic understanding of IT courses and career trends
• Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
• Customer-oriented approach
Qualifications
• Graduate / Post Graduate (Any Stream)
• MBA in Marketing / HR preferred (not mandatory)
Experience
• 0–3 years of experience in education counselling / sales / customer handling
• Freshers with good communication skills may apply
