Academic Counsellor

About the Role

WHY TAP is seeking dynamic and result-oriented Career Counsellors with experience in education sales, academic counselling, or related domains. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to guide students and parents toward suitable career programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding career opportunities and professional courses

• Provide detailed information about IT and professional training programs

• Handle inbound and outbound leads through tele-counselling and direct interactions

• Understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses

• Maintain accurate records in CRM including lead management, follow-ups, and conversions

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process

• Maintain professional relationships with prospective students and parents

Eligibility Criteria

• Any Bachelor’s Degree (BBA or relevant degree preferred)

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Education Counselling / Education Sales / Academic Advisory / Inside Sales

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal and convincing abilities

• Target-driven and performance-oriented mindset

• Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM handling

• Fixed Salary: 2.5 – 4.5 LPA
