Job Title: Academic Counselor
Location: Thrissur, Kerala
Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective students through course selection, admissions, and enrollment processes. The role involves counseling students, understanding their career goals, and recommending suitable training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students and parents about courses, career paths, and training programs
Handle walk-ins, inquiries, and leads generated through calls, emails, and digital platforms
Explain course details, fees, duration, and placement support clearly
Convert inquiries into enrollments and achieve admission targets
Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM/ERP systems
Follow up with prospective students to ensure timely admissions
Coordinate with trainers and academic teams for batch schedules
Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong convincing and negotiation abilities
Ability to understand student needs and provide career guidance
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
Goal-oriented and result-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Any Graduate / Postgraduate
Experience in educational counseling or sales is an added advantage
