We are looking for a reliable and organized Store & Purchase In-Charge who can take ownership of material management and support our production requirements efficiently. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a hands-on, practical individual who understands the importance of stock control, timely purchasing, and cost awareness in a small manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will: • Be responsible and organized, with a clear sense of accountability. • Be able to maintain proper digital records using basic computer tools like Excel. • Be able to negotiate with local suppliers and ensure timely procurement. • Understand basic inventory principles like FIFO, minimum stock levels and consumption tracking. • Be cost-conscious, avoiding unnecessary purchases or wastage. • Be comfortable working in a small team and taking initiative. Key Responsibilities Store Management • Maintain adequate stock of raw materials, consumables, and tools. • Keep stock records accurate and up to date. • Issue materials to production and record usage clearly. • Ensure lean stock practices (e.g., FIFO, avoid overstocking/wastage). Purchase Support • Communicate with suppliers for quotations and orders. • Negotiate prices where needed, without compromising timelines or quality. • Track and follow up on pending deliveries. • Maintain clear documentation for all purchases. Preferred Skills • 1–3 years of store/purchase experience in a manufacturing unit. • Comfortable with Excel, Word, and basic inventory systems. • Good communication and negotiation skills. • Capable of understanding basic technical product details. Qualifications • Minimum 12th pass; Graduate or Diploma preferred. • Training or exposure to inventory/purchase roles in industrial settings is helpful. • Basic digital skills (Excel, email, file management) are essential.
