Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper for our Plumbing and Firefighting division. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper records of materials, ensuring smooth storage and retrieval of items, managing stock levels, and handling documentation with the use of computer systems.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment related to plumbing and firefighting.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory using computer-based systems (Excel, ERP, or store software).
Issue materials to site teams as per requisition slips and maintain proper records.
Ensure safe storage, labeling, and handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
Conduct periodic stock audits, reconciliation, and reporting to management.
Monitor stock levels and raise requests for replenishment when required.
Maintain records of returns, scrap, and unused material.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely availability of materials.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in store operations.
Minimum 0–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in Plumbing & Firefighting works.
Strong knowledge of plumbing & firefighting materials, fittings, tools, and consumables.
Computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, email; ERP knowledge is an advantage).
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to manage stock systematically and work under pressure.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Graduate / Diploma in any field.
Technical knowledge in plumbing/firefighting will be preferred.
