Reporting To: Head – Mall Operations / Director – Retail & Malls
The Senior Mall Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, profitability, and performance of the mall. This includes tenant management, facility upkeep, marketing coordination, customer experience, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the mall, including maintenance, housekeeping, security, and parking.
Monitor facility management teams and service providers for quality performance.
Oversee compliance with safety, health, and statutory standards.
Manage AMC contracts and ensure timely renewals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and retailers.
Oversee leasing operations in coordination with the leasing team.
Ensure timely collection of rents, CAM charges, and other dues.
Handle tenant concerns, renewals, and space allocations efficiently.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for the mall.
Monitor revenue streams, expense control, and profit margins.
Support finance teams in audit, billing, and collection processes.
Coordinate with the marketing team for mall events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Drive footfall growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
Ensure brand visibility and consistent customer engagement.
Supervise and guide the operations, maintenance, and facility teams.
Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure training & development.
Maintain strong coordination between departments – security, engineering, housekeeping, and marketing.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and government regulations.
Handle escalations, emergencies, and crisis management effectively.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and facility management software.
Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure operations.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or Facility Management.
MBA or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in mall management, commercial real estate, or retail operations.
Experience managing large malls or multiple centres is an added advantage.
