Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Refrigerator Technician to install, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair domestic and commercial refrigerators, freezers, and other refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults in refrigerators, freezers, and refrigeration systems.
Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, thermostats, condensers, evaporators, fans, and electrical parts.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Install and commission new refrigeration units.
Check refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely in accordance with applicable regulations.
Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and safety.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Communicate with customers regarding repair findings, costs, and maintenance recommendations.
Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or a related technical field.
6 months to 4 years of experience in refrigerator repair and maintenance (preferred).
Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license (preferred, if field service is required).
