Key Responsibilities

 Install HVAC systems and components including:

o Split, VRF/VRV, ductable units

o AHUs, FCUs, chillers

o GI ducts, insulation, dampers, diffusers

o Refrigerant and chilled water piping

 Follow approved drawings, method statements, and manufacturer guidelines

 Support testing, commissioning, balancing, and performance checks

 Diagnose HVAC system faults (electrical, mechanical, refrigerant)

 Attend breakdown calls and restore system functionality

 Replace defective parts and components

 Coordinate with Service Engineer / OEM for complex issues

 Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as per AMC checklist

 Clean filters, coils, drains, and blowers

 Check refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and controls

 Maintain system efficiency and uptime

 Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times

 Use tools and equipment safely

 Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately

 Comply with site and client safety rules

 Use tools and instruments properly

 Handle HVAC equipment and materials carefully

 Prevent damage, wastage, or loss of tools and spares

 Maintain housekeeping at work area

 Fill daily work / service reports

 Update maintenance checklists and logs

 Record parts replaced and spares used

 Report work completion and pending issues

 Work under Site Engineer / Service Engineer instructions

 Coordinate with supervisors and fellow technicians

 Communicate issues clearly and promptly

 Support client handover and demonstrations when required
