AC Technician – Job Description

Position: AC Technician / HVAC Service Professional
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contractual
Location: On-site (Customer Home Service)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable AC Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with air conditioning systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-friendly service during home visits.

Key Responsibilities

Perform AC and cooling system services, including but not limited to:

• Installation and uninstallation of split and window AC units

• AC servicing, cleaning, and gas refilling

• Diagnosis and repair of AC issues (cooling, leakage, noise, electrical faults)

• Preventive maintenance and routine check-ups

• Filter, coil, and duct cleaning

• Basic electrical and wiring work related to AC systems

• Replacement of faulty parts (with company approval)

Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all tools, equipment, and service kits.

Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures during all service visits.

Provide clear explanations to customers regarding service issues, solutions, and after-service care.

Ensure timely completion of assigned bookings.

Maintain professional behavior and high service quality standards.

Report service updates, issues, or customer feedback to the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience as an AC Technician or HVAC technician.

• Knowledge of split AC, window AC, and basic HVAC systems.

• Understanding of electrical components, gas charging, and safety procedures.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• ITI certification or technical training in AC/HVAC is preferred.
