Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AC Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various air conditioning and ventilation systems in [Residential / Commercial / Industrial] settings. Your primary goal is to ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and high-quality customer comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install new air conditioning units (split, window, central, or ductless) according to blueprints and manufacturer specifications.

• Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters) to ensure system longevity.

• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools like multimeters and manifold gauges.

• Repair: Replace defective parts, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats; perform brazing or soldering on copper piping.

• Customer Service: Explain technical issues to clients in simple terms and provide recommendations for upgrades or efficient energy usage.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all service calls, repairs, and parts used via [Digital App/Paper Log].

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle, electrical circuits, and thermodynamics.

• Certifications: High school diploma or ITI/vocational certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

• License: A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces) and climb ladders in various weather conditions.

• Soft Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
