Team Leader – Delivery Operations & Hiring

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire Delivery Boys / Delivery Executives as per operational requirements.

• Manage the complete onboarding and joining process of delivery staff.

• Coordinate with HR/Management for document verification and employee onboarding.

• Manage a team of delivery executives and ensure daily attendance and availability.

• Allocate delivery staff according to store and business requirements.

• Monitor delivery performance, productivity, and attendance.

• Handle delivery executives' day-to-day operational issues and grievances.

• Ensure sufficient manpower is available during peak hours and high-demand periods.

• Coordinate with Store Managers, Operations Managers, and Management.

• Track attrition and continuously work on replacing vacant positions.

• Conduct regular team briefings and communicate company policies and targets.

• Prepare and share daily/weekly manpower and performance reports.

• Ensure delivery executives follow company SOPs, customer service standards, and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in Delivery Operations / Quick Commerce / E-commerce / Logistics preferred.

• Experience in hiring or managing delivery boys will be an advantage.

• Good communication and team-handling skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends if required.

• Number of delivery executives hired and onboarded.

• Daily manpower availability.

• Attendance and attrition rate.

• Delivery executive productivity.

• Hiring turnaround time.

• Team performance and operational efficiency.

• Reduction in manpower shortages.

Experience

1–4 years in Team Handling / Delivery Operations / Recruitment / Logistics.

Preferred Background

Candidates from Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, Zomato, BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart or similar logistics/quick-commerce companies can be considered.
