Senior HR Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR professional to manage and support all HR activities in our food processing factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training & development, and ensuring smooth HR operations in alignment with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring needs.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory staff and support roles and co ordinating with contractors. 

• Conduct interviews and facilitate onboarding and induction programs.

2. Attendance & Payroll Support

• Monitor and manage daily attendance using biometric systems and pagar book. 

• Prepare and verify attendance data for payroll processing.

• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely salary disbursal.

3. Employee Relations

• Address employee grievances and escalate where needed.

• Manage their leaves and address the issues of the same. 

• Foster a healthy and productive work environment.

• Organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements.

• Assist in audits and inspections by government authorities.

5. Training & Development

• Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.

• Track employee performance and maintain development plans.

6. Health, Safety, and Hygiene

• Collaborate with safety teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

• Support HR initiatives related to factory hygiene and safety awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in HR; prior experience in manufacturing/FMCG/food industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of HR systems, labor laws, payroll, and compliance.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, labor-intensive factory environment.
