The ideal candidate has deep networks within the hospitality industry, especially among restaurants, culinary professionals, and training institutes, and excels at identifying, engaging, and placing top kitchen talent. This role drives the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring we maintain a top-tier kitchen workforce.
Talent Sourcing & Networking
Proactively source qualified kitchen staff and chefs using multiple channels (job boards, social media, referrals, culinary schools, industry events).
Maintain and expand an excellent network of restaurant professionals and industry contacts to tap into passive and active candidates.
Build relationships with culinary institutes, hospitality schools, and chef communities to access high-quality talent pipelines.
Full Recruitment Cycle
Create compelling job postings for kitchen roles (chefs, line cooks, kitchen helpers, sous chefs).
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide clear candidate evaluations.
Manage job offers, negotiate compensation, and handle candidate onboarding.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Promote our brand and culture with a focus on culinary excellence and career growth.
Ensure a smooth and positive recruitment experience for candidates at all stages.
Maintain regular communication with candidates, providing updates and feedback.
Data & Reporting
Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline).
Provide hiring forecasts and insights to leadership based on market trends and staffing needs.
Experience & Background
Proven experience 1 - 3 Years in recruitment — ideally in hospitality, restaurants, or culinary staffing.
Demonstrated success in hiring chefs and kitchen staff across varied skill levels.
Vast network and contacts within the restaurant industry and culinary professionals.
