Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources operations for our jewelry. You will oversee talent acquisition for retail sales, craftsmanship/production teams, and corporate roles, manage payroll and labour law compliance, and foster a high-performance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment for retail showroom staff (sales consultants, cashiers, store managers), manufacturing/artisanal teams (karigars, designers, quality control), and administrative roles.
Payroll & Compensation: Oversee monthly payroll processing, incentive structures for sales teams, and employee benefits administration.
Statutory & Labour Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local labour laws, shop and establishment acts, PF/ESI, and social compliance audits specific to manufacturing or retail setups.
Training & Development: Coordinate training programs on jewelry product knowledge, craftsmanship appreciation, customer service excellence, and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment).
Performance & Employee Relations: Manage appraisal cycles, probation confirmations, grievance handling, and retention strategies across high-value retail and workshop environments.
HR Operations & MIS: Maintain HRIS records, track attrition metrics, and report workforce analytics to the management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: MBA in Human Resources Management or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR or Business Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 6 years of core HR experience, ideally within the jewelry, retail, or manufacturing sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software (such as Darwinbox, Keka, or SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Office.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with workforce dynamics in jewelry showrooms or manufacturing units, high integrity, and strong conflict-resolution skills.
