Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR Operations Executive who will play a critical role in building and running our people operations from day one.
This is not a support-only role. You will own the complete employee lifecycle, help set up HR systems and processes, and ensure smooth daily operations as the team grows.
You will work closely with the founder and leadership team, gaining end-to-end exposure to how a startup is built — from hiring the first employees to scaling teams responsibly.
This role is ideal for someone who wants real responsibility, learning, and growth, rather than a fixed, corporate HR setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring Support
• Coordinate interviews and follow-ups.
• Assist with sourcing and hiring field & office staff.
2. Onboarding & Induction
• Handle joining formalities, document collection, and induction.
• Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
3. HR Documentation
• Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and HR documents.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
• Track daily attendance, leaves, and working hours.
• Maintain attendance records using Excel/HR tools.
5. Payroll Coordination
• Prepare payroll inputs and coordinate salary processing.
• Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
6. Employee Records & Compliance
• Maintain personal files and statutory records.
• Support basic compliance and documentation needs.
7. HR Policies & Process Implementation
• Implement company HR policies and SOPs.
• Ensure employees follow internal guidelines.
8. Employee Support & Queries
• Handle employee queries related to HR, payroll, and policies.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR support.
9. Performance & Engagement Support
• Assist in basic performance tracking and feedback processes.
• Support employee engagement initiatives.
10. HR Administration & Daily Operations
• Manage daily HR and basic administrative activities.
• Ensure smooth HR operations as the team grows.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations / HR Executive / HR Generalist role.
• Strong hands-on experience with :
• Offer letters & HR documentation.
• Attendance, leave & payroll coordination.
• Comfortable working with Google Sheets / Excel.
• Basic understanding of labour laws and HR compliance.
• Good communication skills. (English + local language preferred)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Willing to handle both HR and basic administrative tasks.
• Problem-solving mindset with a “get-things-done” attitude.
Expectations for This Role
• Experience working in an early-stage startup.
• Prior exposure to field sales or blue-collar workforce HR.
• Experience using HRIS tools or payroll software.
• Knowledge of PF, ESIC, and statutory processes.
• Ability to support hiring at scale in a short time.

HR Data Management & Reporting
Maintain and update HR databases and HRMS systems with high standards of data accuracy and documentation, ensuring proper controls, confidentiality, and compliance to mitigate risks and support audit readiness.
Generate regular HR dashboards and reports for management, highlighting key metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition, attendance, etc.)
Performance & Deadlines
Deliver accurate outputs within tight timelines, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail.
