Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance with labour laws, and HR policy implementation. The role ensures that the organisation's workforce is engaged, productive, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals.
Employee Relations
Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
Resolve workplace conflicts through effective mediation.
Conduct employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
Support employee wellness and recognition programs.
Performance Management
Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
Assist managers in setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
Identify high-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
Training & Development
Assess training needs across departments.
Organize learning and development programs.
Monitor training effectiveness and employee skill enhancement.
Compensation & Benefits
Administer salary structures, incentives, and employee benefits.
Support payroll coordination with the finance team.
Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
Handle disciplinary actions and grievance management.
HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare HR dashboards and management reports.
Track metrics such as attrition, recruitment, attendance, and employee engagement.
Recommend improvements based on HR data and trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of progressive HR experience.
At least 2–3 years in an HR leadership or managerial role.
