The Human Resource Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all HR functions of the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, training & development, policy implementation, and organizational development. The role ensures a productive work environment while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Develop and execute manpower planning strategies.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
Coordinate with department heads to identify hiring requirements.
Conduct interviews and facilitate candidate selection.
Oversee onboarding and induction programs.
2. Employee Relations
Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Conduct employee engagement activities.
Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
3. Performance Management
Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
Monitor employee KPIs, KRAs, and goal achievements.
Support managers in performance reviews and development plans.
Identify high-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
4. Compensation & Benefits
Supervise payroll processing and salary administration.
Manage employee benefits, incentives, and rewards programs.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
Ensure timely processing of increments, promotions, and final settlements.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
Manage PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Handle audits related to HR and labor compliance.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Develop and implement learning and development programs.
Track employee skill enhancement and career growth.
Promote leadership and succession development initiatives.
7. Policy Development & Implementation
Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
Ensure policy compliance across the organization.
Recommend process improvements and HR automation initiatives.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare monthly HR MIS reports and dashboards.
Monitor attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and workforce metrics.
Provide HR insights to support business decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience:
5–10+ years of progressive HR experience.
Experience handling manufacturing, engineering, or industrial workforce preferred.
