An HR recruiter is responsible for the entire talent acquisition process, which includes partnering with hiring managers, creating job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process through to onboarding. Key duties involve using various platforms to find candidates, maintaining an applicant tracking system (ATS), and ensuring a positive experience for all applicants while aligning recruitment with business objectives. Key responsibilitiesCollaborate with hiring managers: Partner with department heads to understand their specific staffing needs, company culture, and required skills. Create job descriptions: Write clear, accurate, and compelling job descriptions to attract the right candidates. Source candidates: Actively search for qualified applicants on job boards, social media platforms like LinkedIn, professional networks, and employee referrals. Screen and interview candidates: Review resumes, conduct initial phone or video interviews, and assess candidates for both skills and cultural fit. Manage the hiring process: Schedule interviews with the hiring team, manage the ATS, and ensure a fair and consistent process for all applicants. Extend offers and onboard: Extend job offers, negotiate compensation, and work with new hires to complete the onboarding process. Enhance employer branding: Contribute to initiatives that improve the company's reputation as an employer. Report on metrics: Track and report on key hiring metrics like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire. Required skills and qualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.Strong time-management and organizational abilities.Knowledge of HR laws and best practices in recruiting.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
