Roles and Responsibilities:
Industrial & Labour Relations (IR & LR)
Ensure timely initiation of disciplinary actions and report the same to senior management.
Act as a whistleblower for employee-related concerns, ensuring transparency and compliance.
Ensure compliance with Factory Act / Shops & Establishment Act and other applicable labour laws.
Manage application, renewal, and amendments of licenses, registration certificates, and agreements.
Liaise with government officials for statutory updates, legal amendments, and settlements.
Handle all statutory compliance as per relevant laws.
Ensure the implementation of health, safety, welfare measures, proper working conditions, and employment benefits.
Identify labour training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
Maintain regular interaction with unionized employees to address concerns and foster amicable relations.
Contract Labour & Contractor Management
Manage the application/amendment process for Contract Labour Registration Certificates.
Issue Form V to contractors and ensure they secure required licenses as per the Contract Labour Act.
Define productivity standards for contract employees and take corrective actions for deviations.
Regularly interact with contractors to ensure adherence to standards and expectations.
Oversee the recruitment, induction, onboarding, and exit formalities for contractors and their labour.
Maintain up-to-date agreements and contractor documentation for records, audits, and inspections.
Review and authorize monthly wage and overtime bills, statutory registers, and compliance documents before forwarding to accounts for payment.
Communication & Policy Compliance
Interpret and implement HR policies in accordance with labour laws; coordinate with Corporate HR as required.
Ensure timely display and communication of notices, circulars, amendments, and relevant information via notice boards or internal communication channels.
Coordinate with auditors and government officers during external audits and inspections, providing required documents and clarifications.
Grievance Handling & Disciplinary Actions
Attend and resolve employee grievances promptly through proper channels.
Maintain regular interaction with employees and provide necessary counseling.
Maintain record of disciplinary action .
Statutory Compliance & Legal
Handle legal and statutory requirements under various labour laws and ensure their effective implementation.
Liaise with government authorities and external agencies to ensure smooth statutory operations.
Achieve 100% compliance with statutory obligations, norms, and documentation.
McD Compliance audit requirements to ensure,- McD Sites ( West and South )
Manage compliance for PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, PT, Minimum Wages, Workmen Compensation, and Mediclaim.
Address and resolve employee queries related to statutory benefits.
Ensure timely submission and filing of annual, half-yearly, or periodic statutory returns with all supporting documents.
