Looking for someone who can help with day-to-day HR work in a manufacturing company. The role includes handling employee records, attendance, basic compliance work, and coordinating with workers on the shop floor to keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing candidates for shop-floor and staff positions
Schedule interviews and coordinate with department heads
Conduct initial screening of candidates
Handle joining formalities, documentation, and induction
2. Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain employee files and HR databases
Ensure proper documentation for new hires, exits, and updates
Track attendance, leave records, and shift schedules
3. Payroll & Attendance Support
Collect and verify attendance data (biometric/manual)
Assist in payroll inputs like overtime, leaves, and deductions
Coordinate with accounts/payroll team
4. Statutory Compliance
Support compliance with labor laws (PF, ESIC, bonus, gratuity, etc.)
Maintain registers and records as per factory/legal requirements
Assist during audits and inspections
5. Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for worker queries
Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes
Assist in employee engagement activities
6. Training & Development
Coordinate training sessions for workers and staff
Maintain training records and feedback
7. General HR Operations
Assist in HR reporting and MIS preparation
Support daily HR administrative activities
Coordinate with different departments for HR-related matters
