Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support the manufacturing plant by driving HR strategies, managing labour-related activities, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening employee relations on the shop floor. This role requires hands-on experience with blue-collar workforce management, contract labour administration, and plant HR operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Labour & Employee Relations.
Act as the primary HR point of contact for factory workers and contract labour.
Handle shop-floor grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure harmonious industrial relations and reduce absenteeism & attrition among workers.
Conduct regular interactions with workmen, union representatives, and contract supervisors.
2. HR Operations & Plant Administration.
Maintain personnel files, time office, and shift schedules.
Handle payroll inputs, overtime calculations, leave records, and wage settlements.
Support canteen, transport, safety, and welfare activities within the plant.
3. HR Business Partnering.
Work closely with plant leadership & functional heads to support business goals.
Provide HR insights for productivity improvement and workforce optimization.
Analyse HR metrics—attrition, workforce cost, attendance—and develop corrective plans.
