Actively contribute to building a professional, accountable, and respectful workplace culture
Be a consistent cultural bridge: understand what the founder wants the company to feel like, and help everyone else live that standard
What We're Looking For
Proven ownership mindset - sets up processes correctly the first time and keeps them running without reminders
Detail-oriented without being slow - compliance and payroll are zero-error functions; mistakes here have real consequences
Discreet and trustworthy - handles sensitive salary, performance, and personal information with full confidentiality
Strong communicator - written and verbal; comfortable creating policy documents as well as talking to employees
Proactive and self-directed - does not wait to be told what needs to be done next
Adaptable - comfortable working in a small team where HR is not a support function but a critical operating function
Good with technology - HRMS tools, Excel/Google Sheets, payroll software, communication tools
Disciplined and process-driven, with the judgment to know when to be flexible
Genuinely invested in being part of a company at its formative stage
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent is preferred
2–4 years of hands-on HR experience - generalist or HR operations background preferred over pure recruitment
Prior experience handling payroll processing and statutory compliance independently (not just assisting)
