Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage all activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. This role involves handling vendor registration, responding to inquiries, managing tenders, participating in bids, and conducting technical evaluations in alignment with procurement norms.
Key Responsibilities:
GeM Portal Management:
Maintain and update company profile, product listings, certifications, and documentation on the GeM portal.
Monitor notifications, circulars, and updates from GeM and ensure timely action.
Tender & Bid Participation:
Identify relevant tenders and bidding opportunities across departments.
Prepare and submit bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with tender requirements.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarify technical or commercial queries with buyers.
Track bid status, follow up on results, and maintain records of submissions.
Technical Evaluation & Compliance:
Review tender specifications and assess technical feasibility of participation.
Coordinate with internal technical teams to prepare product comparisons, compliance sheets, and evaluation reports.
Ensure submitted bids meet all technical criteria and documentation standards.
Inquiry & Quotation Management:
Respond to buyer inquiries and RFQs on the portal.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare competitive pricing and technical responses.
Documentation & Audit Readiness:
Ensure all statutory documents (e.g., PAN, GST, MSME, product catalogs) are current and compliant.
Maintain audit-ready records of transactions, approvals, and communications.
Vendor & Buyer Coordination:
Liaise with government buyers for clarifications, negotiations, and order fulfillment.
Coordinate with logistics and finance teams for smooth execution of orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in public procurement or e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with GeM portal functionalities and government procurement norms.
Strong understanding of technical evaluation processes and bid documentation.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
