Working Knowledge & Skills

The candidate should have strong working knowledge of:

• PAN India Labour Law Compliance.

• Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.

• EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and Minimum Wages compliance.

• Shops & Establishments Act of different states.

• Factory Act (where applicable).

• Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Payment of Wages Act, Equal Remuneration Act, and other statutory labour laws.

• Vendor and contractor compliance management.

• Client compliance audits and statutory inspections.

• Government portal operations and online statutory filings.

• Preparation and maintenance of statutory registers and records.

• Compliance MIS, documentation, and reporting.

• Coordination with labour authorities and government departments.

• Risk assessment and implementation of compliance controls.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and HRMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory compliance across all company locations on a PAN India basis.

• Monitor compliance with Central and State Labour Laws.

• Manage EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory obligations.

• Conduct periodic compliance audits of branches, sites, and contractors.

• Coordinate with clients regarding compliance requirements and documentation.

• Handle inspections by government authorities and ensure timely closure of observations.

• Maintain all statutory registers, licenses, and records.

• Ensure timely renewal of labour licenses and statutory registrations.

• Prepare monthly compliance reports and MIS for management.

• Support payroll and HR teams in statutory compliance matters.

• Develop compliance SOPs and conduct awareness sessions for internal teams.

• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure 100% compliance with client contractual requirements and legal regulations.
