Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Blue Collar Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment of semi-skilled manpower across construction, manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, logistics, warehousing, and industrial projects. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and ensuring timely deployment of quality manpower.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Manpower Planning
Understand manpower requirements from project teams.
Prepare recruitment plans based on urgency and project timelines.
Coordinate with HR Managers and Site Administrators.
Candidate Sourcing
Source candidates through job portals, consultants, contractors, social media, WhatsApp groups, local references, ITIs, and skill development institutes.
Build a strong database of semi-skilled workers.
Conduct regular recruitment drives and walk-in interviews.
Screening & Selection
Screen resumes and applications.
Conduct telephonic and preliminary interviews.
Verify candidate experience, skills, salary expectations, and availability.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Documentation
Collect and verify KYC documents.
Verify employment history where applicable.
Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records.
Ensure complete joining documentation.
Joining & Deployment
Coordinate offer acceptance and joining formalities.
Arrange deployment to project sites.
Follow up until successful onboarding.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Maintain relationships with manpower suppliers.
Track vendor performance and recruitment quality.
Ensure timely manpower availability.
Recruitment Targets
Meet monthly hiring targets.
Maintain low joining drop-out rates.
Ensure quick turnaround time for open positions.

Experience

Experience hiring operators, technicians, helpers, electricians, plumbers, fitters, welders, drivers, machine operators, housekeeping staff, security personnel, and other semi-skilled workers is preferred.
