Assistant HR Manager
Shiksharatan India Foundation is looking for an Assistant HR Manager to join our team and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the organization.
The role involves identifying potential candidates, sourcing profiles, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and supporting the organization’s overall hiring requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for updating job postings and coordinating background verification processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of candidates.
Create, review, and update job descriptions as per organizational requirements.
Source and engage candidates through job portals, social media, professional networks, and other recruitment platforms.
Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and evaluations.
Coordinate interview schedules and maintain recruitment trackers.
Manage complete HR operations from employee joining to exit, ensuring all HR formalities are completed properly.
Handle employee onboarding and documentation, including joining forms, employee records, appointment letters, HR documentation, and other required formalities.
Manage and maintain employee attendance and leave records and coordinate with payroll for accurate salary processing.
Support and coordinate payroll-related activities, including attendance inputs, leave adjustments, salary-related documentation, and employee queries.
Maintain accurate and updated employee master data and personnel files.
Manage employee documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, from joining to exit, including confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations, full and final settlement, and exit documentation.
Coordinate and maintain performance management and review processes, including performance review documentation, appraisal records, and review presentations.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, presentations, and other management reports as required.
Handle employee queries and support employees on HR-related matters.
Support team and people management, including employee engagement, coordination, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Work closely with department heads and managers to understand manpower requirements and support workforce planning.
Conduct background verification and coordinate other pre-employment processes.
Ensure proper maintenance of HR records, policies, formats, and documentation.
Support HR compliance and ensure that required HR processes and documentation are followed properly.
Handle employee grievances and escalate sensitive matters to senior management whenever required.
Support other HR and administrative activities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification: Graduation is mandatory. Candidates with an MBA/PGDM in HR, Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or any relevant qualification may apply.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in HR Recruitment and HR Operations.
Mandatory experience in end-to-end HR operations, covering the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
Strong experience in recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
Hands-on experience in employee onboarding, HR documentation, and maintaining employee records.
Practical experience in attendance and leave management.
Working knowledge and experience in payroll coordination and salary-related HR processes.
Experience in employee confirmation, performance management, appraisal/review processes, and performance review presentations.
Experience in managing employee exits, resignation formalities, full and final settlement coordination, exit documentation, and relieving/experience letters.
Experience in handling HR formats, letters, trackers, MIS reports, and HR documentation.
Experience in team and people management, employee engagement, and handling employee-related concerns.
Strong knowledge of HR processes and the complete employee lifecycle management.
Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, and basic compliance requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple HR and recruitment activities simultaneously.
Good decision-making and people-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and other HR-related tools.

Important Requirement
Candidates with only recruitment experience and no hands-on HR Operations experience will not be considered. The candidate must have practical experience in both Recruitment and HR Operations, including joining-to-exit employee lifecycle management, attendance, payroll coordination, documentation, performance reviews, and people management.
