Salon Receptionist

A Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients visiting a salon. They handle front desk operations, manage appointments, and ensure customers have a smooth and pleasant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about services and pricing
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
Maintain the reception area (clean, organized, welcoming)
Process payments (cash, card, digital payments)
Keep track of client records and service history
Coordinate with hairstylists, beauticians, or therapists for appointments
Handle customer complaints politely and professionally
Promote salon services, offers, and products

Required Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge (booking systems, billing software)
Customer service mindset
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Professional appearance and attitude
Basic math skills for billing

Qualifications

Minimum: High school diploma (12th pass)
Experience in reception (preferred)

Working Conditions
