About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and target-oriented Receptionist / Sales Executive to be the first point of contact for our gym members and potential clients.

The role combines front-desk responsibilities, customer service, lead follow-up, and sales. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with people, handling enquiries, making sales calls, and working towards monthly membership targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the gym’s front desk during the morning shift.

• Welcome members and potential clients in a professional and friendly manner.

• Handle client enquiries, questions, and basic membership-related information.

• Attend phone calls and respond to client messages/enquiries.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception desk.

• Manage basic computer work, including entering client information and updating records.

• Follow up with potential clients and leads generated through enquiries, walk-ins, calls, social media, and other sources.

• Make sales/follow-up calls primarily between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM/12:00 PM.

• Explain membership plans, offers, and gym facilities to prospective clients.

• Encourage prospects to visit the gym and convert enquiries into memberships.

• Maintain a record of calls, follow-ups, appointments, and conversions.

• Follow up consistently with interested clients until the enquiry is converted or closed.

• Assist the management/sales team in achieving monthly membership targets.

• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for existing members and new clients.

• Perform other basic front-desk and sales-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, reception, telecalling, or a similar role is preferred.

• Gym/fitness industry experience is not required.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable speaking to clients over the phone.

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Presentable, polite, confident, and professional.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and follow up consistently.

• Should be comfortable working with sales targets and performance-based incentives.
