The Gym Receptionist / Sales Executive serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations. This role is also responsible for achieving sales targets through proactive lead generation, membership conversions, and client retention efforts.
Greet and assist all members, guests, and prospects in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage member check-ins, renewals, and inquiries efficiently.
Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding memberships, classes, and promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the front desk and reception area.
Ensure a smooth member experience from entry to exit.
Meet and exceed monthly membership and revenue targets.
Conduct gym tours for prospective clients, highlighting key features, services, and programs.
Follow up on leads from digital campaigns, walk-ins, and referrals.
Maintain a database of potential clients and track conversions using CRM or lead sheets.
Process payments, renewals, and manage basic administrative tasks related to sales.
Coordinate with trainers, management, and operations staff to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate member records and daily reports (attendance, inquiries, sales).
Assist in organizing marketing events, fitness assessments, and client engagement activities.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Sports Management, or related field).
1–3 years of experience in a front desk, customer service, or sales role (fitness industry preferred).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic administrative software.
