Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake: Welcoming patients and visitors, checking them in, and directing them to appropriate departments.
Scheduling & Communication: Answering phone calls, taking messages, and scheduling or canceling appointments.
Administrative Duties: Managing records, filing, sorting mail, and maintaining front desk organization.
Billing & Insurance: Verifying patient insurance coverage, collecting copayments, and updating financial information.
Safety & Privacy: Maintaining strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) and assisting with emergency situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Prior administrative or receptionist experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Proficiency in computer software (e.g., MS Office, Electronic Health Records/EHR).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Organization: Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
