Position Summary:
A Front Office Associate is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. The role includes handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt check-in and check-out services.
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Handle guest complaints or concerns and escalate issues to supervisors when needed.
Maintain accurate records, update guest information, and process payments.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Assist guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer service–oriented with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly.
Basic computer proficiency; experience with PMS/hotel software is an added advantage.
Professional grooming and presentation.
Prior experience in hospitality or front office roles preferred.
