Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist and serve patients by greeting them, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and handling front office operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office & Reception Duties
Welcome patients and visitors courteously, both in person and over the phone.
Handle inquiries and direct patients appropriately.
Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Handle billing procedures, payments, and patient account updates.
Maintain reception area cleanliness and professionalism.
Assist patients during emergencies and provide necessary support.
Maintain office inventory and coordinate equipment servicing when required.
Follow company policies and operational procedures.
Reception & Help Desk Responsibilities
Reception Desk
Issue tokens to patients for queue management.
Call patients according to token numbers.
Process billing and collect payments.
Verify prescriptions and update patient details in the system.
Handle corporate and referral patient documentation.
Mark urgent cases in LIS as required.
Manage report receiving and dispatch procedures.
Submit daily cash collections and documents to the Accounts Department.
Help Desk
Greet doctors and assist visitors.
Respond to patient inquiries politely and efficiently.
Arrange wheelchairs or stretchers for emergency cases.
Schedule diagnostic tests and doctor consultations.
Dispatch reports during non-report hours.
Coordinate with polyclinic chambers and support business development activities.
