# Receptionist – Job Description

**Role Summary:**

Responsible for managing the front desk, welcoming visitors, handling telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations while delivering excellent customer service.

## Key Responsibilities

* Welcome visitors, clients, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.

* Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails.

* Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars.

* Manage visitor records and maintain the reception area.

* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, courier services, and office mail.

* Provide administrative and clerical support to various departments.

* Maintain office files, records, and documentation.

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations.

* Assist in data entry, report preparation, and basic office administration.

* Ensure a positive first impression by delivering excellent customer service.

## Required Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

* Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

* Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

* Telephone etiquette and professional presentation.

## Eligibility

* Any Graduate or Diploma holder with any specialization.

* 1–3 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or in a similar administrative role.

* Strong organizational skills and a positive approach to handling visitors and inquiries.
