About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive to manage patient billing operations across our hospital network, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all inpatient and outpatient bills.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and process patient bills for IP/OP, ensuring accuracy of tariffs, packages, and consumables
Coordinate with insurance/TPA desks for cashless approvals, pre-authorizations, and claim settlements
Verify and reconcile advance payments, discounts, and refunds
Handle corporate and government scheme billing (CGHS, ECHS, PMJAY, etc. as applicable)
Resolve patient billing queries and disputes promptly and courteously
Maintain daily collection reports and reconcile with the finance team
Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and statutory requirements
Coordinate with clinical, pharmacy, and insurance departments for accurate charge capture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.Com/BBA or equivalent); healthcare billing certification is a plus
2–5 years of experience in hospital/medical billing (healthcare industry preferred)
Familiarity with HMS/hospital billing software and insurance/TPA processes
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills for patient and insurer interaction
