Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical systems and equipment across the resort to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, sockets, DBs, and distribution systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and attend emergency breakdowns promptly.
Maintain lighting systems, power supply, generators, and electrical equipment.
Monitor and maintain electrical equipment in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, back-of-house, and common areas.
Perform routine checks of pumps, motors, and other electrically operated equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of emergency lighting and electrical safety systems.
Maintain records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and repairs.
Follow electrical safety procedures and resort maintenance standards.
Coordinate with other engineering and maintenance team members when required.
Ensure tools, spare parts, and electrical materials are properly maintained.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
2–5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance requirements.
Strong focus on safety and preventive maintenance.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in hotel/resort engineering maintenance.
Knowledge of DG, pumps, motors, HVAC electrical systems, and basic BMS operations is an advantage.
