Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

·         Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.

·         Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using appropriate testing equipment.

·         Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.

·         Identify required tools and materials for each project and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

·         Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems efficiently and recommend appropriate solutions.

·         Comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.

·         Collaborate with other maintenance and construction staff to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.

·         Proven experience as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.

·         Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.

·         Strong understanding of water supply, drainage, and waste disposal systems.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.

·         Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations.

Working Conditions

The position may involve working in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes under challenging conditions. Plumbers may be required to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts depending on project needs.
