Office Boy

Job Summary:

The Office Boy will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and supporting day-to-day activities in the laboratory and office area. The role includes handling files, serving refreshments, assisting staff, maintaining hygiene, and supporting basic administrative and housekeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Maintain cleanliness of laboratory, office cabins, pantry, and washroom areas.

2.  Serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to staff and visitors.

3.  Assist lab staff in arranging files, documents, and stationery.

4.  Carry documents, samples, and materials within office or plant premises.

5.  Ensure proper cleaning of lab tables, chairs, and common areas.

6.  Support photocopy, scanning, and document filing work.

7.  Handle office opening and closing activities as instructed.

8.  Maintain pantry items and inform for refill requirements.

9.  Dispose of waste materials properly as per safety instructions.

10. Follow safety and hygiene guidelines inside laboratory premises.

11.  Assist in any other office or administrative work assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• Basic reading and writing ability.

• Good behavior and communication skills.

• Punctual and disciplined.

• Ability to follow instructions properly.

• Basic knowledge of office cleaning and pantry handling.

Qualification:

• Minimum: 8th / 10th Pass.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in office boy.

• Experience in laboratory or industrial environment will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor laboratory and office environment.

• May require movement within plant/site premises.
