Helper cum Caretaker (Guesthouse)

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Helper cum Caretaker to assist in the daily operations of our guesthouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, from kitchen assistance to outdoor maintenance and animal care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Kitchen & Service Support

• Assist the main cook with food preparation (chopping, cleaning, and organizing ingredients).

• Serve meals to guests in a polite and professional manner.

• Clean dining areas and wash utensils after meals.

2. Pet Care

• Responsible for the daily care of our resident dogs.

• Tasks include feeding, walking, bathing, and ensuring their living area is clean.

• Must be comfortable and friendly with pets.

3. Property Maintenance

• Water Management: Operating water pumps and ensuring overhead tanks are filled daily.

• Gardening: Watering plants, basic weeding, and maintaining the lawn/greenery to keep the guesthouse looking beautiful.

• General Upkeep: Keeping the outdoor areas, driveway, and porch clean.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Previous experience in a guesthouse, farmhouse, or large residence is a plus.

• Skills: Basic knowledge of kitchen help, ability to handle garden tools, and comfort with operating basic machinery (pumps).

• Attributes: Animal lover (mandatory), punctual, physically fit, and willing to take initiative.

• Availability: This is a live-in position.
