Staff Nurse

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Staff Nurse - ICU and OT Nurses
Department: Nursing Services
Experience: Minimum 1 Year to 5 Years
Location: Hospital/Healthcare Facility

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting doctors in treatment procedures, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess, monitor, and record patients' vital signs and clinical conditions.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and care instructions.
• Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards are followed.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
• Maintain nursing equipment and ensure availability of supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• B.Sc Nursing and GNM Nursing
• Nursing Registration is mandatory
• Experienced candidates may apply.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Patient care and clinical nursing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
