Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Female Nurse to manage occupational health and first-aid requirements at the shop floor. The role involves handling workplace injuries, maintaining medical records and supplies, coordinating with hospitals, supporting employee health programs, and ensuring compliance with EHS/OHS requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide first aid and immediate medical assistance for shop floor injuries and medical emergencies.
Maintain accurate medical and occupational health records as per EHS/OHS requirements.
Conduct regular health discussions and address health-related concerns of female employees.
Check daily medicine/medical stock and maintain inventory records.
Coordinate with tie-up hospitals whenever required.
Support and coordinate annual health check-ups for female employees.
Educate female employees on women's health and related medical issues.
Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal in accordance with MPCB norms.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits of the Occupational Health Centre.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the Occupational Health Centre.
Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Competencies & Skills
Nursing qualification with relevant experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of first aid and emergency medical treatment.
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (EHS/OHS) practices.
Knowledge of medical stock management and maintenance.
Basic knowledge of MPCB norms and biomedical waste disposal.
Teamwork and ability to coordinate with employees, hospitals, and internal teams.
Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Experience
1+ years of relevant nursing / occupational health experience.
Preferred Candidate
Female Nurse with experience in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment and Occupational Health Centre (OHC) operations.
