Patient Care Duties
Assist patients with basic daily activities, as assigned by nursing staff.
Help patients with mobility, shifting, and transportation within the facility.
Support nursing staff in providing basic patient care.
Respond promptly to patient needs and inform nurses about any discomfort or concerns.
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
Housekeeping Duties
Clean and maintain patient rooms, wards, corridors, washrooms, and other assigned areas.
Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene in patient care areas.
Change bed linen and maintain beds as per hospital procedures.
Collect and dispose of waste according to biomedical waste management guidelines and hospital protocols.
Refill housekeeping supplies and maintain cleaning equipment.
Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, and PPE guidelines.
Report maintenance issues, spills, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and patient care.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit to perform assigned duties.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward patients.
Ability to follow instructions from nursing staff and supervisors.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, if required.
