# BAMS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – Night Duty
••Position:•• Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – BAMS
••Duty:•• Night Shift Only – 12 Hours

### Job Responsibilities
• Provide medical coverage for admitted patients during the ••12-hour night shift••.
• Conduct initial assessment of patients presenting with acute complaints during the night.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical condition of inpatients.
• Attend to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate first-line management.
• Review and manage routine patient complaints, fever, pain, vomiting, breathing difficulty, etc.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient case sheets, progress notes, treatment charts, and other medical records.
• Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care and monitoring.
• Escalate critical or deteriorating patients to the consultant/specialist on call promptly.
• Assist in emergency stabilization and arrange referral/transfer when required.
• Ensure proper handover of patients and pending issues to the morning duty doctor.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
### Eligibility
• ••BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution.••
• Valid medical registration.
• Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
• Good clinical assessment, communication, and emergency-handling skills preferred.
### Duty Requirements
• ••12-hour night duty only.••
• Willingness to work night shifts regularly.
• Ability to independently handle routine inpatient and emergency situations within the scope of practice.
